Project Overview
This unit and the lesson within it, are intended to give you a brief introduction into videography, from planning to post-production editing. Students will have the opportunity to explore the planning process, the shooting of video footage, and the possibilities available to them and to their students using video editing software.
The first two lessons, are preparation for the third lesson; so pay attention and ask questions. For the third lesson project, you the video artist, will create your own video. You will be responsible for generating your own idea; for writing the script; for creating a storyboard to guide your filming and editing; filming raw footage; and editing your film into a cohesive video sequence. The first two lessons will teach you how to complete each of the stages of your individual videography project. The individual project will encompass three class periods. The final class period will be a videography viewing and critique event (Popcorn and beverages provided) |
